Romek #3

1. I think it was an incredible experience hearing someone from the holocaust speak to us. I think it will be great to be able to tell our children that we heard a survivor because when our children are grown there wont be any survivors left. I cried, It was heartbreaking hearing him speak about the murders of his whole family, you could hear the sadness and anger at the Germans in his voice. I was really really touched by him, and i hope he lives a long time so he can do what he promised to his mom.

2. I think Romek was proud because he was in a organization kinda like the partisans and he was glad that his little brother was following in his footsteps to stop the Germans from reaching world domination. I think he was happy because he knew that if he died David would be able to survive and take care of the family, that he wasn't a little kid anymore.

3. Because i think some of the Germans were still evil but still had some feeling so they made him go back to the ghetto. I think they knew if he went back the the ghetto he would eventually die in a concentration camp or starve of just get shot, i don't think it was meant to be a favor of any kind. I just think he has great luck.
