1. Before we started this project i already knew allot about the Holocaust before i started reading "because of Romek" When i was 11 i went to the museum of tolerance. When i went there i learned a lot about the holocaust and allot about Hitler. I learned about what the Germans did to the Jews, and i learned why they did that.
2. a) I feel really bad for Davids family, First because I know that they all die and second it must have been a horrible experience for all of them. The whole family is scared because they don't know what to do. Soon, too soon. David is going to have to take over the family and he is not sure if she has the experience nor the courage too do so. They are all very worried for there sun's.
b)I think that David Faber can write such a moving and realistic story because it actually happened to him and if something like that happened to anyone and they survived I think it would be imprinted in there memory for ever. The whole story is true, even if some people don't want to admit it.
3.I think that when David puts his mind to it, he can do anything. I think that is part of the reason he survived the holocaust and it alive today; I think he is cunning, smart, and has a kind heart. Later on in the book I know he helps people in need, and when you help people, they help you back.
