1. I think he kept the pigeon because with all the sadness and death he didn't want to kill something beautiful. Also he was really lonely and just needed sometime with someone who was depressed and crying about the war. The pigeon saved his whole family's life because when the pigeon didn't come it hinted the mother that something was wrong and so they hid and were saved.

2. I think that Puskow the Vacation camp was probably the easiest out of the camps, not to say it was easy im just saying that it wasn't like gruesome and horrible like some of the other camps he will eventually go too. I think it was called the Vacation camp because it was not that hard and was just preparing them for Ashwitz and some of the other horrible camps were they could die in an instant i think it was just a "prepare" camp

3. What is it like knowing that you are one of the few survivors of the Holocaust?

Do you ever regret something you did during the holocaust?
