PURPOSE: In this section, explain what you were supposed to learn and what you were supposed to do.

The purpose of this project was to learn about the renaissance time period and all the the people and places that it had. In this project we were assigned a person to become. After we had done lots of research on our person we wrote a biography on our person. When our paper was finished we had to fully become our character at a ball in which we had to act our our character, we learn the Pavon which is a common dance back then, we also learned how to act if you were upper class and how to act if you were lower class.

WHAT I LEARNED

In this section, tell what information or skills you learned or improved.

Mary Stewart was Born on December 8 in Linlithgow 1542. She Died on 8 February in Fotheringay 1587. She was the only daughter of James V of Scotland. She became queen when she was only three days old. Her Mother was Mary Of Guise. Became Queen of England, Scotland, Ireland and France in her life. She was Executed at 44 years old. She lived in prison for 19 years. Her only son became the king of England when queen Elizabeth died. I learned about the time period in which Mary Stewart lived, the Renaissance. I learned about what the sold at markets and why it was important. I learned the names of the most famous artists and why they were inportant.

REFLECTION

In this section, reflect on your experience. Did you like the project? Why or why not? How did you do? What would you do differently next time?

I Liked this project because i loved learning about the interesting people back then and how they changed history. I also loved dressing up and becoming someone else for a day. It was fun! I also loved learning a dance and doing it with my friends. I fell like next time I could not goof of as much in class and work harder to make my paper better.
