Lord of the flies
Chapter 11: The Castle Rock
Perspective: piggy

The end

I stared around me trying to make out comprehensible shapes. All I saw were Grey shapes moving around. Pretty much I was blind. I could not see, I was useless. “In the wild when the mother lion had a cub with a disability the mother would kill its own child for the safety of the other cubs” I recited the line from the great book of animals in my head. What was I thinking? Suicide just wasn’t my thing. I went on. We were making our way towards the camp.
It was so embarrassing. Ralph had been holding my hand for the past 25 minutes. I was going to be delirious if this kept on any longer. I didn’t want the other boys to see me like this. “when we get there let go of me” Why Ralph said back. They already think im bad enough, holding your hand isn’t going to make it any better.
Soon enough though he let go of my hand and moved forward without me. “just stay here he said” wait maybe not holding me hand wasn’t the best idea in the world. I heard them talking and just stood there.
A while later I heard a sound like something giant had come out of the earth and was moving towards me. Then I heard something “piggy run” i dropped the conch on accident and heard it crack into a thousand pieces the talisman had been broken.
But the sound was too close and my unfit body couldn’t get its self out of the way in time. Smack. Something huge smacked into my body, I heard the loud cracks as my body began to fall apart. I touched my hand to my stomach. I could already fell the warm wetness seeping through my clothes. From then on I knew I was going to die. All of this took less than a second and another second later piggy’s dead body hit the ground. The cessation of piggy's life had ended. At least he wasn’t alive when he hit “Ralph thought” and as if answering that thought piggy’s whole head spit open and tons of blood and brains split out onto the wet sand. A moment later the water rushed up bubbled a little and took piggy’s gruesome scene out to sea.The truculently of what had happened disappeared into the water.
