2. i would have because they really had no chose they had to go otherwise they probably would have been killed or raped so they as a family decided to leave for the family's safety yes i know its horrible to leave Hideo behind but they really had no choice.

i mean whats the point of killing someone on your side it dosen't accomplish anything i think he did it because he wanted to show the other soldiers that he "was in charade"

1. Yeah I agree about the rapes, and about the part where they go to Pusan, because they would go back to their homeland.
2. I think that you are right that he just did it to show he was in charge, but sometimes it still happens. I think they are quite stupid to kill their own, because they would have less people. Then again, they might have thought that they would form a conspiracy.... I dunno.

b. I would imagine the difficulty of leaving a family member behind. I would have gone, but would have been very sad.
1.) I agreee with you. I would leave if i saw other girls getting raped and i wouldn't like going ot the bathroom like a boy.
2.) I would leave too because they really didnm't have a choice een if did mean leaving hideyo behind, i think they made a good decision.

1) Yep i agree with and yea probably ko is in the age gruop of the japanese girls getting raped so thier mom binded her chest and cut her hair to look like a boy. And now their choice is to go to japan and be safer than they were in Korea.
2)They could of stayed and be raped or killed and not to meet up with Hedeyo so they though it was poitnless for the rest of thier family die s they made a choice.
