1. The Wave experiment happened in a high school history class in Paulo Alto CA in 1969. It is based on a true story of what a school teacher did.
2. First of all they used film projectors with celluloid film instead of video cassettes or DVDs like we use now. Also, everyone was smoking and its very rare for people so smoke now in California. Furthermore, the only person who had a computer in his home built it from a kit because he want to become a computer engineer when he goes to collage. finally In school they used typewriters instead of laptops like we use now.
3. The school used bells to tell when the end of each period was. Almost all the children smoked. homework was optional and not at all important!! The y had a cafeteria in the school that served hot dogs on plastic trays and finally they where allowed to sleep and do whatever they wanted in class. Man they had it easy!!! but how did they ever expect to become anyone important or do anything or value?!!?

Answer to group discusion qestion::
I don't know why the teachers wouldn't care about homework. How do the kids learn and practice for an upcoming test?? I think they should have more value in the homework and not let the students have a choice on wether or not they want to do.
What was your favorite sentence so far in the boo and why? ANd also.. what sentence stood out the most to you that mad you mad, sad or angry?? Do you think the schools are better now or back then?
I thought that you got a lot of reasons to why they where from back then and you did a good job cause i didn't get that many reasons. Also i liked how you noticed that they used typewrighters not laptops because I thoughtthat too.
the teachers back then were just careless because they didnt care if the students did there homework or sleep. they should have enforced them to do homework instead of the opption.
