1 I think that is just what they call each other to respect each other, maybe its just something they do in Asia I wouldn't know also in so far from the bamboo grove the family members referred to each other and honorable brother ex..
2 since he is one of the old people in the house and you have to respect your elders i think that he think he can do what ever he want and just be mean and boss people around
3 i wouldn't do it i would run away probably my parents wouldn't make me do it in the first place but still i just wouldn't do it

1. I agree. I thinks it a tradition to call your family members Elder Sister, Big Uncle... ex. Or, in So Far from the Bamboo Grove honerable brother...ex.
2. Yeah, I think he really uses that sayin a lot. He's like the boss of every one. I guess he thiunks he's in charge.
3. Yeah me too. I would feel so bad if I had bound feet. It would hurt! I hope people don't bind their feet anymore. Good job.
