1. so far in the book Yoko has shown that she is a strong minded person she knows how to take care of herself but she is still just a little girl so she cant do much. She doesn't like being bossed around by her sister Ko as you can see in the book on page 46 how shes describing what horrible sister Ko is and then Ko comes and brings her across the bride and she feels bad about that. But still she doesn't like being bossed. I cant imagine having to be a kid back then it must have been so hard.

2. Yoko admires and loves her older sister. The only thing she doesn't like about her is that she is so bossy in the book she announces several times that she doesn't like how bossy Ko in and on page 46 she has a small tantrum about how bossy'' honorable sister is'' so all in all Yoko loves her sister but doesn't love how she's bossy.

3. what they did on the train was incredible they risked their lives trying to save these poor woman it was so sad how that one woman found out her baby was dead and killed herself bye jumping of the train that really made me cry and also Yoko shared her blanket with the woman who had just given birth which was a great stand for Yoko Shes so cool!

1. Strong, yet stubborn. Not that good of a combination, but it somehow works out. She wants to have it her way, but sometimes she just knows she has to trust others.

2. I think also that it would be a perfect pair, only if Yoko found a way to be not so bossy. She hates the bossy part, but otherwise loves her honorable sister. One day it will all work out.

3. They were in danger themselves, and they went out of their way just to help them! It was a realy sad momentk, when that woman committed suicide, but it was a big reason. I think that the Kawishima is very generous, and I wish I could be as generous.

P.S. Nice blog!

1. I agree because she does feel that way but Yoko's character i feel is a little confusing she had mixed feelings but she was just a kid.

2. I think that Yoko and Ko would be good sisters. But Yoko doesnt realize yet that its kind-of the older siblings job to be bossy at times.

3. I think that they were so caring to do that. To help people they didnt know and were injured. I also believe that when the lady commited suicide is a sad part. But her baby died and i geuss she didnt have a reason to go there anymore. Its a sad thing to watch or hear about. But yes they helped out people who they didnt know at all and thats genorisity

1.i THINK YOUR RIGHT AND i AGREE THAT SHE IS YOUNG AND CAN BE HASTY BUT SHE COMES THROUGH AND DOES WHAT SHE DOES TO DO

2. I agree with ethan they would be the perfect pair and if Ko wasn't so bossy they love eachother so much and honer eachother

3.I agree with you ashlen when Yoko gave that blanket to that woman and to her baby and that was just so nice of her to do that but when the woman found out that the baby was dead it mestup when they threw it off the plane and the woman comitted suicide just to stay with the baby so that kind of threw all the effort away because she died

1) she is strong but has a stubborn attidue becasue she really wants this war to be over. So her life could be the same again. But she is working on listenng.

2) I think that yoko is growing more fonder of ko since they are surviving the war together. Even though yoko says mean things about her yoko doesn't really mean it.

3)I think their presenceon that train affected the patients in a good way since they were helping them by giving them a little food and water.

1.) I agree with you. She is strong but stubborn, but I thnk she would be Yoko without her personality.

2.) Yoko and her sister love eachother very much, but they both can be a little bossy and thatcan be a very bad thing. Maybe one day they will learn not to be so bossy.

3.) Yoko and her family were very kind. Most people would keep their food for themselves and not care about others. They may have saved someones life.
