This book is the sequel to a book that I really liked. So far this year I hadn't gotten around to reading this book so i decided that for independent reading i would read it. In the last sequel by Stephanie Meyer Twilight the story was that there was a girl, Bella who's parents where divorced and she wanted to move to the small town of forks to live with her dad, Charlie. When Bella gets to forks shes sad because she misses her mother. In the story the mother sis portrait as child like, so Bella's life has been taking care and protecting her mother. Well when Bella gets to forks she hates that its so wet because it always rains there.

After she gets over the wetness she goes to the local school. She is afraid that no one will like her because in her old school in Arizona she was an out cast. But when she gets to the school she notices that people like her and she she becomes friends with some other boys and girls.

But then she meets Edward. Edward is a vampire and i know when i say the word vampire your thinking Dracula, suck blood coffin's ex but Edward is a different vampire. He has been alive for about 80- 100 years and has thought hes seen all of humanity when he meets Bella. The thing that catches his eye for her is the smell of her blood. Edward and his family had tried for hundreds of years to not drink human blood instead they drink the blood of wild animals. Edward does not want to ruin his family's tradition so he leaves for a couple days and goes to Alaska where he meets up with some of his old friends.

Meanwhile Bella gets the impression that Edward hates her and hes sad because she think she felt something for him. But when Edward gets back he seems allot nicer and is happy to become friends with Bella. Bella on the other hand wants to be more than friends. He warns Bella that he is dangerous that he is a bad person but Bella refuses to listen. Later in the story the fall in love and go on countless adventures together some of them risking Bella's life...

But so far in new moon the sequel sad sad things have happened. Last book Bella had been almost killed by a sadistic vampire who wanted Edward to be hurt. Bella had survived but Bella had come very close to dying. Edward had still not gotten over it when it was Bella's birth day. At her birth day she accidentally gotten a paper cut. When Edwards brother smelled the blood he went crazy and tried to kill Bella which had really hurt Edward seeing his brother trying to kill his true love. So i think i knew what would happen even though i wished it wasn't true. Edward had to tell Bella that he didn't love her and that he and his family were leaving forks to get away from her. I know it might not sound very sad to you but i cried my eyes out it was very sad for me.

OP #2 ties that bond ties that break

1. Do you think Eileen (Ailin) will quit the job of being an amah? Why or why not?

I think that she will quit because who wants to work at something they dont want to be. She wants to be a school teacher, not an amah. I really hope she accomplishes her dreams. because shes a good person.

2. Do you think the houseboy and Eileen (Ailin) will become friends? Why or why not?

I really hope so. I think they will become great friends. they have A LOT in common so they can become easy friends.

3. If Eileen (Ailin) chooses to go home, what do you think will happen?

And what do you think her family might think? I dont think she will go home. I wouldn't want to. I would be afraid of big uncle hes mean!
